
WhoBody Pictures was set up by Gareth Coulam Evans to produce Film and TV Drama.
Gareth is currently Co-Producing Virdee, a major new crime drama for BBC One with Paul Trijbits’ new company, Magical Society. Cineflix Rights are distributing around the world.
Prior to this he worked on series 1 and 2 of Sharon Horgan’s BAFTA winning Apple TV+ series Bad Sisters.
Gareth also collaborated with Merman Television on the hugely successful drama podcast series People Who Knew Me, starring Rosamund Pike and Hugh Laurie for BBC Sounds.
Prior to working in television, Gareth Wrote and Produced for Independent feature films, as part of a creative team with Simon Dixon.
Together they Co-Wrote and Gareth Produced Tiger Raid, featuring Brian Gleeson (Mother! Phantom Thread) and Sofia Boutella (Climax, Stark Trek Beyond). The film was shot in Jordan and premiered at Tribeca in New York. Directed by Simon Dixon, with partners including Bankside, Irish Film Board, Altitude, Ingenious, Samson and Hulu.
Gareth also developed Agnes Merlet’s feature film Hideaways (Tribeca, Fidelite, Wild Bunch) and Produced numerous shorts including Must I Write? starring Dennis Hopper. He was also invited to participate in the Berlinale Talent Campus.
Prior to producing, Gareth worked as a Line Producer of micro budget features in Ireland. these included Pavee Lackeen, which won Best Picture and Best Director at the IFTAs, the Satyajit Ray prize in London, and was selected for competition in Toronto and Venice.
Gareth also made entertainment television at Shine, including the first series of Project Catwalk with Elizabeth Hurley and the reboot of The Clothes Show.
He has also worked extensively in commercial creativity, including being part of the leadership team that built DixonBaxi into a world class brand agency, Executive Producing projects all over the world for clients from NBC to Star Networks.
